Remember that what we are celebrating isn’t (or shouldn’t be) about banks, retailers, and phone companies wanting our business. It is about this STAR throwing a brick at cops and starting the Stonewall Uprising. This time of year isn’t supposed to be about “equality”. It’s supposed to be about freedom and liberation. Remember Stonewall. Remember Marsha P Johnson. Remember STAR.
This year, don’t celebrate Pride. Celebrate Christopher Street Liberation Day.
Today I heard from a friend that last night, while he was filming some cops, some street kids came up(ones he knows personally) and started acting all buddy buddy with the cops and THEY FUCKING VOLUNTEERED TO BEAT UP MY FRIEND FOR THEM. The pigs laughed and left, then signalled the group when they got down the street. Suddenly my friend had about thirty street kids coming at him with skateboards and other objects, so he pulled out his knife to keep them back. At that point one of the girls in the group ran into a store to get a cop to tell him my friend had a knife. Cops came out with guns drawn ON THE PERSON DEFENDING HIMSELF! As the cops were detaining my friend, one of the people in the group yelled “you’re going back to prison, n****r!”
I have been hearing morw and more lately about street kids in Seattle cooperating with the cops and being snitches, and they’re doing this mostly to anarchists and other radicals, including people involved with Food Not Bombs and Food For Everyone.

Being queer doesn’t excuse you from privilege. You can be a white queer racist, a queer male misogynist, a cis queer trans*phobe, a wealthy queer classist, or any number of other oppressive things and the sooner you educate yourself to this the better off our whole community will be, because contrary to media depiction, queer people aren’t all white middle-class gay men!

Cop Sexually Assaults Woman Then Arrests Her For Protesting
As if that wasn’t enough for them, they sent her child to protective services and put the mother in jail for “making false allegations against a police officer”, which is actually not a crime. Now that it’s been revealed she was telling the truth, not only is the cop fired, but even the judge who sat there and let it happen is under investigation.
Have I mentioned I hate ALL cops?
